Emirates Airline President Announces Future with AI
Tim Clark, the president of Emirates, thinks that the development of artificial intelligence may eventually lead to the possibility of single-pilot aircraft. He said that rather than being afraid of AI, the aviation industry should evaluate its potential and embrace it.
AI has the potential to revolutionize the aviation industry and pave the way for single-pilot aircraft. Thoughts of having two pilots in the cockpit are more popular with passengers. However, fully autonomous aircraft may not be developed.
Simply aiming for pilotless or single-pilot autonomous aircraft is ambitious for several Airlines but travellers’ safety should be the ultimate concern.
