Saudi Arabia and Singapore Step Into the Future With New MoC

Saudi Arabia and Singapore have always been progressive, but the two countries’ latest move may take that to a whole new level.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) in Saudi Arabia signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) on the digital economy, emerging technologies, and digital government with Singapore.

This MoC includes cooperation in practices, processes, and policies related to digital transformation, interoperability standards, and digital industry development.

This is in addition to fostering collaboration in cooperative activities to promote and support the expansion of the digital economy and associated standards, such as digital platforms, digital signatures and authentication, transferable digital documents, and digital billing systems.
