The Colombian digital government policy update

#Colombia is one of the most advanced countries in Latin America regarding #digitalgovernment, and it recently updated its national policy.

To help improve the quality of life of Colombians and increase the country’s competitiveness, the National Government issued Decree 767 of 2022.

“We are harmonizing all the steps we have taken with recommendations issued by international organizations, the experiences of other countries, and the actors of the digital ecosystem in Colombia,” said ICT Minister Carmen Ligia Valderrama Rojas during her presentation.

The main objective of this policy is to promote changes in the culture of public administrations to make them more open, transparent and participative.
