The G20 Digital Ministers Meeting, organised by the Ministries of Economic Development, Technological Innovation and Digital Transition, took place in Trieste on the 5th of August.

The topics at the centre of the “G20 Digital Ministers’ Meeting” were divided into two areas themes “Digital Economy” and “Digital Government,”

The main focus of the discussion was about opportunities, challenges and risks the government has to deal with to further harness the potential of digitalisation for a more resilient, sustainable and inclusive recovery.

The meeting is essential to keep pace with the profound transformation that digitalisation has generated in the economy and society.
