According to experts, digital technology is not the final goal of healthcare but rather a means to make it more patient-centric and accessible.

This was among the main discussions that happened at the 2nd Digital Health Summit in India.

“The opportunities that digital health may give are endless, granted good implementation and cooperation among all stakeholders,” stated R S Sharma, Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Authority.

Dr Sharma was one of the presenters at the 2nd Digital Health Summit.

The summit brought together key players for substantive discussions about the evolution of the digital health ecosystem.

All agreed that digital health infrastructure might help alleviate the woes and burdens of the country’s healthcare industry.

However, in order to make the ideal reality and maximise its utility, there needs to be integrated, coordinated, and comprehensive efforts from all stakeholders.
