Strong collaboration is key to protecting Canadian’s digital identities

According to an expert panel, #Canada is still a considerably away from digital identity applications.

However, it has the chance to advance thanks to its active market and collaboration between these participants.

Canadians trust that both the government and financial institutions will safeguard their personal information.

Joni Brennan from the Digital Identity Association of Canada (DIACC) says this is a positive starting point for building digital identity-based solutions and services.

He claims that the diverse community of Canadian stakeholders—including DIACC’s 90+ member organizations—makes Canada a leader in protecting privacy issues.
