#Malta recently became the best in Europe in #egovernment #services

According to the European Commission‘s eGovernment Benchmark Reports 2021, Malta has been ranked first out of 36 European countries.

It even surpassed #Estonia, which is one of the most #digitalisedgovernments in the world.

The report says that their digital government is the most user-centric, transparent, technologically enabled and open to users from other #Europeancountries.

The government said that Malta had first place in all criteria for this year, as well as in 2020 and the previous years.

Mario Cutajar, chief of public service, said that this attests to all of the work they have done in the last couple of years with an investment of 200 million euros in #technology so that #publicservices are accessible anywhere.
