China developed first intelligent research vessel
Running to win the digital race, China has now developed its first intelligent research ship equipped with digital twin technology.
While on the way, this vessel use its intelligent capabilities including verification of equipment performance indicators, autonomous navigation and operation, and virtual and real interaction of the digital twin system.
Developed by Harbin Engineering University, the vessel, named Haitun 1 (Dolphin), is 25 meters long with a displacement of 1,000 tonnes.
